Transcript Accuracy and Processing Questions

We use a vendor with a 93% accuracy rate for transcriptions, and the system is always improving. We also run the transcripts through a spell-checker we built to clean them up further before you see them.

We process transcripts to make them clearer:

  1. Conversations are separated by speaker automatically.
  2. A spell-checker cleans up obvious errors.
  3. Next year, we’re adding automatic corrections for common competitor name mistakes.
  4. We’re also working on improving punctuation and formatting.

In the future, we may add more ways to make transcripts easier to read, but for now, this system has been effective.

In the self-service model, users handle transcript cleanup. However:

  1. We automatically run transcripts through a spell-checker.
  2. We’re adding auto-fixes for common competitor name mistakes next year.
  3. We’re considering a service tier where we can help with this if needed.

We don’t offer incentives right now. Instead, we’ve focused on keeping the survey short, which makes it easier for people to complete. This approach has given us a 7% response rate, which is better than the industry average. We may look into incentives in the future but are happy with how it’s working so far.

No, the questions aren’t customizable, and that’s by design. We’ve identified the five most effective questions for getting clear, useful answers. Custom surveys often take extra time to create and lead to messy data. Most customers agree that these five questions cover what they’d want to ask.

Yes, we do have a Gong integration and we’re actively working on some features to extract win stories from Gong calls that will be integrated in Win-Loss next year.
